TripAdvisorUnforgettable Wildlife Encounters From the Very Start
We traveled from Tanzania into the Serengeti and within minutes of entering the park, a lone elephant wandered right past our vehicle. Further into the grasslands we spotted a family of tall ostriches with two tiny chicks, and as the morning grew warm and bright, the views stretched on for miles — a very unique and breathtaking landscape that honestly left us speechless. We managed to see all the wildlife we had hoped for, including the leopard, which is notoriously elusive since they tend to hide up in the trees. Our guide Alex was absolutely wonderful and made the whole experience feel personal and special. We also stopped at a Maasai village and learned about their daily life — they shared fascinating info on their traditional dances and customs. A huge thank you to the entire team for making this dream trip a reality. Truly an unforgettable safari experience we will cherish forever!

Arriving the beginning of the peak season, mid June, we stayed in north Serengeti.
The picture does not reflect the scarcity of animals. I guess we were spoilt visiting 3 other national parks prior to our visit all having an abundance of animals everywhere we looked.
Unfortunately the government were doing numerous back burns which really spoilt our visit.
We did several game drives with limited encounters so we gave up.
If it is your first time to a game park you would probably enjoy it, but we were so spoilt elsewhere. We have decided not to return.

A dream of a place!! It is The Lion King live. Everything happening, the harmony of the landscape with the animals, the migration of wildebeests and zebras, the lions mating right in front of you, the cheetahs eating their prey, the little lion cubs with their mother protecting them, the giraffes peacefully eating from the treetops, the elephants in the distance, at night the lions roaring outside your room, passing rains that later draw a rainbow on the horizon, the ponds full of hippos, and the tourist service centers super well equipped, with WiFi, clean bathrooms and beverage sales.
Serengeti is the best!! A gem of the planet that we must protect at all costs! I love this place.

One beautiful national park. Huge savanna… you can easily spot animals everywhere. Cheetahs and lions are plenty; zebras, giraffes, monkeys and gazelles are countless. We were able to see the big four within an hour. We also saw a lion dragging a wildebeest. Our guide and driver Ibrahim was just wonderful. He drove to the very happening areas so well, and we had a great time. A must visit in Tanzania.

The best place in the world to see a wide variety of animals! Easily accessible with many wonderful luxury tented camps to choose from (or campsites for a tighter budget). You can see all the big cats, zebra, elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, crocodile, tons of bird species, many antelope species, buffalo, and witness the wildebeest migration.

Site has several picnic areas to have lunch and use the bathroom.
Bathrooms aren't super clean but better than nothing.

GoogleJust wow! So amazing everything I wanted. The big cats will ignore the jeeps and behave like normal. I love birds and it was so interesting from tiny little European Roller, through eagles, secretary birds up to Ostriches.
Of course you get to see all the other amazing animals, elephants, zebra, giraffes, deer of several kinds, Hippo, crocodiles, warthogs. I didn't see a rhino but my friend who did a balloon saw one but they are very rare.
GoogleBeautiful wild life safari! The migration was incredible! The hotel (camp) actually nice and good! We stayed at Maramara camp. The service is good and they stick with health protocol, they always using mask and provide ready to go-hand sanitizer for each room.
GoogleDefinitely on a bucket list. We have seen 3 river crossings in 2 days. There were no crossing for 4 days before we arrived. Saw the great migration. Amazed at how the wildbeests marched in one single line for miles. Saw a lot of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffe, zebras, hippos etc. Yes, serengeti is not cheap but very well worth it. Now, you will have to endure the dusty and bumpy road (African massage). Bring a face mask.
