Singita Faru Faru Lodge

Singita’s Faru Faru Lodge is situated along the Grumeti River inside the Grumeti Game Reserve. Well known for their quirky decor style, it is truly well loved by the guests as one of the most memorable locations to go on Safari in the Serengeti.

With easy access to both the Grumeti River crossing points and the Serengeti Plains, Faru Faru provides a varied experience when it comes to the Great Wildebeest Migration, being able to provide the experience both during the calving season which takes place on the Serengeti Plains and during the dramatic Grumeti River crossing season. If the migration gets you all excited, Faru Faru is the place to be.

Setting

The Western Corridor is famous for their abundance in wild life. With the mighty Grumeti River providing a reliable source of water, the area is one of the most diverse in the Serengeti Park and amazing game viewing can be seen all year round.

The highlight of the year is when the annual Wildebeest Migration comes along and crosses the Grumeti. With the large amounts of large Nile Crocodiles in the river, the crossings are always dramatic and filled with action. It is a must see event.

Accommodation

The camp features 9 luxury tented suites. The suites are artfully decorated with an authentic African "feel" while still retaining the quality that Singita is known for. The tented suites are divided into 7 single room suites, one family room suite, one 2 room suite (perfect for groups of friends or families with 4 adults). Each tented suite features the following:
